I like that part of changing “Why is this happening to me?” to: “What is this trying to teach me?”. Since the latest experiences I've had, I am true believer that everything happens for a reason and incredibly, usually is a good reason, to teach something we should learned for our own good.
I love that you could relate and connect to that statement. Yeah, asking different question reframe our participation in our lives. Instead of showing up as a victim, we becomes and active pariticpation.
This article really resonates with me as it is a mirror to my experience as well. I can clearly see how the challenges helped me learn and grow, but only after hitting rock bottom and clawing my way out. Unfortunately, I believe I had to go through so many of those challenging experiences so I could learn and become who I am today. My hope is that many more people will realize this and start to reframe the question exactly as you did. Any challenge I have now, my first question is “What am I supposed to learn from this?”
I’m delighted to hear about your experience and share your journey with us. In my own experience, it appears that hitting rock bottom and rebuilding is a common path for most people I know. Yes, definitely reframing the question is what the universe wants us to do. It takes us out of the powerless to solution driven mindset.
